Men urine test

Avoid drinking too much fluid before performing the test.

  1. Wash your hands with soap and water and dry with a paper towel.
  2. Open the urinal container carefully without touching the inside of the container or the door.
  3. Clean the urethra with a disposable damp cloth twice and with a new towel each time. In people who are not circumcised, pull the urethral skin out of the urethra.
  4. Be careful not to touch the inside of the container with any part of your body, otherwise ask for a re-sampling unit.
  5. Drain a small amount of the first portion of urine (the first few drops) into the toilet and collect about 30 ml (half of the sample container).
  6. Close the lid of the sample container and deliver it to the laboratory.
  7. If the urine sample becomes contaminated at the time of collection, the test results will be distorted, so compliance with the above conditions is mandatory.
  8. Make sure the name and surname and the admission information are on the container, otherwise inform the admissions and sampling authorities.
  9. Place the sample container in a specially designed urine specimen collection.
  10. If the sample is taken outside the laboratory, place the container in the refrigerator after collection of the sample and return to the laboratory the same day.

Please pay particular attention to the following points for accurate and accurate results:
